Vaccines & Immunizations

FLU & COVID-19 SHOTS NOW AVAILABLE!

RESPIRTORY ILLNESS PREVENTION

The flu shot provide the best protection from seasonal influenza and provides 4 to 6 months of protection from the flu. After receiving the vaccine, it takes approximately 2 weeks to provide full protection.

Central Valley Health District has influenza (regular and high-dose) and COVID-19 vaccine available. Talk to a nurse about RSV and Pneumonia vaccine. Call to schedule an appointment or simply walk-in to our main office during business hours.

For more information on the Influenza vaccine, visit here.

How much does it cost?

Most insurance companies cover the cost of the flu shot. Central Valley Health District can bill nearly all major in-state insurance companies. If you have out-of-state insurance or no insurance the cash price of the flu shot at our office is $30.

Cost should not be a barrier to vaccination. The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program provides all recommended vaccines to children who are American Indian, uninsured or underinsured, and Medicaid-eligible. Central Valley Health District has VFC Program vaccine available for those in need.
