Well-Child Visits
Central Valley Health District provides North Dakota Well Child Visits (formerly known as Health Tracks), also known as the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit provides routine physicals or well-child check-ups at specified ages through age 20 who are enrolled in Medicaid.

AVAILABLE SERVICES
Health Tracks may cover:
- Annual well-child check
- Hearing and vision checks
- Vaccinations
- Lab work (hemoglobin and lead screening)
- Basic dental and orthodontic screenings
- Health education
- Behavioral health screenings
- Growth and development checks
- Nutrition counseling
- Inner and outer agency referrals
Inner agency referrals may include: WIC, reproductive health, car seats, lactation support, etc. Outer agency referrals may include: occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, mental health counseling, dental, vision, orthodontic, and family medicine.

SCREENING SCHEDULE
Health Tracks screenings are recommended at these ages:
Newborn
2-5 days old
1 month
2 months
4 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
15 months
18 months
24 months
30 months
Every year from age 3 through 20
Dental Care:
First visit after a child’s first tooth appears OR by age one, or sooner if a problem occurs.
Checkups every 6 months.
