Our focus is to:

  • Reduce access to opioid medications
  • Increase access and awareness to drug take-back locations in the community
  • Increase awareness and access to Narcan
  • Reduce the stigma of addiction

Narcan

Naloxone (Narcan) is an antidote to overdose of heroin or other opioid drugs. It works by blocking the effects of opioids in a person’s system, helping to restore breathing.

Narcan nasal spray is available for free at Central Valley Health. If you are interested, please call CVHD or walk in to our main office during business hours.
