Environmental Health Division

The mission of the Environmental Health Division is to protect human health and the environment through prevention of disease, injury, and illness by the promotion of scientific evidence based practices and education.

Central Valley Health provides environmental health services and education in Southeast Central North Dakota for the following counties: Barnes, Dickey, Foster, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, and Wells.

The Environmental Health Division licenses and/or inspects the following facilities.

Body Art and Tattoo Facilities
Child Care and Group Home Facilities
Non-Community Water Supply
On-site Sewage Treatment Systems
Restaurant Facilities
School Facilities
Public and Semi-Public Swimming Facilities
Tanning Facilities

The Environmental Health Division provides services and education in a variety of areas including:

Water Quality

Solid/Hazardous Waste

Insect & Vermin

Nuisance Complaints

Housing Safety & Sanitation

All licensed facility inspections completed by CVHD are a matter of public record.  If you would like a report of a recent inspection(s) completed by CVHD, please fill out the Request for Inspection Report Form .
